‘A STRANGE HOUR IN BUDAPEST’ – BERLIN : EXTRA SOLD OUT SCREENING!

So far the cinema premieres for Recoil’s ‘A STRANGE HOUR IN BUDAPEST’ have proved outstandingly successful, with great crowd turn-outs and positive reactions everywhere. Due to extra demand, we have now added a second screening in Berlin on October 26th at TAK (Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg). The evening’s presentations are part of the ONLY event to be held in Germany. Both screenings have already sold out and will follow one another. See all new timing details below.

There are still some tickets left which will gain you entry to the Afterparty @ Prince Charles Club, with DJ sets by Daniel Myer (HAUJOBB + Architect) &

Patenbrigade Wolff. Entrance to the party will now be possible for everyone, from the earlier time of 8pm, so that no-one is hanging around while waiting for the second screening to begin. Note – Prince Charles Club is attached to the TAK theatre – both are part of the same complex. The last few tickets are now available at the club’s box office (Abendkasse) but be very quick as there is also a limit here.

We have brought in a larger screen and high spec projection equipment for the theatre, and the film presentations feature full 5.1 surround sound. Both Alan Wilder & Paul Kendall will be in attendance. Alan will host a talk & Q & A session about the ‘Selected Events’ tour, film project and anything else you want to ask him!

These events accompany Recoil’s Blu-ray release of the full concert film, directed by Attila Herkó – and for sale at the venue, we have a limited amount of deluxe tour editions of the Blu-ray up for grabs! These are unnumbered but otherwise virtually identical to the editions which completely sold out within the first few days of the pre-order back in June. In addition they can all be individually signed by Alan. Also some T shirts and a few other items will be available. See www.store.recoil.co.uk for full product details.
